[opensuse-project] Leap 15: Thank You
Hi everyone, As you might be aware, the community released openSUSE Leap 15 on Friday. On behalf of the project, I would like to personally thank everyone who helped to make the release possible. From filing bugs, to testing, to updating the wiki, to submitting packages for the release, you all helped to make the release possible. Ludwig gave a great talk while releasing Leap at the openSUSE Conference - https://youtu.be/GpBXNIc2ys4. We know that not everyone is able to attend the conference, but want extend a thank you for all of you who helped that were not able to make it to the conference. Enjoy Leap 15 and have a lot of fun! v/r Doug -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
Great release, thanks to everybody that worked on it. That's a great opportunity for me to thank Ludwig for mention during release announcement. I'm really thankful for that. Now is the time to do more branding in more places, anything to get openSUSE on-brand >:D Quick reminder though, if you need anything, ANYTHING openSUSE related made in regards to design and art, reach out to openSUSE Artwork ML. We just started changing Wiki icons to something more coherent with current theme than Tango everywhere :D That was a very unplanned busy weekend (I was actually gonna make YaST icons so I guess just a change of focus). One of our contributors is also working on YaST Breeze theme, while I'm doing default one, so great news for Plasma users, and other users alike, we got it ;) I will also try to improve layout of YaST Control Center in the near future, as it takes way more space than it should, and remove all the stuff that looks straight out of 1996 (like rounded corners on focused elements with radius of 8 or something, it's 2018, we are better than that, the only other software that does that is Adwaita, and that's straight out of 2012).
