[opensuse-project] Donation to openSUSE Project
Hi, somebody questioned: "Is there any way to donate money to openSUSE Project?" -- Jan Papež (honyczek) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
Hi, i'm not sure about the possibility of donating directly to the project (perhaps the board can respond to that?), but there definitely is the possibility to help openSUSE by donating to or sponsoring events like the openSUSE conference! This helps to enable hundreds of openSUSE contributors and enthousiasts to meet up every year to discuss the direction of the distribution and align efforts, so donating to that is a very valid and tangible way of helping the community (i know because i/my company has done so and have witnessed the direct results of that)!. Perhaps this at least answers your question partly? All the best! Hey Hans, it's a perfect quick first and valid answer. For big bunch action. Sponsoring could be for hardware (obs), internet line/bandwidth, or a special event etc... For individual sponsoring, the best is to go on shop.opensuse.org and buy some stuff there. Jan you can contact directly the board if you have a project. -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member & Board, fsfe fellowship GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
