[opensuse-project] Linuxtag 2008
Hi Deadline for Linuxtag Cfp is coming fast, this Friday. As usual we will be there, i try again to organize a "openSUSE day", means a room with only openSUSE topics for a whole day. From the last year's experience i figured that the audience is more interested in generic user talks, like Marcus talk about Photomanagement was pretty crowded. We will try to cover this kind of talks more this year, here are some ideas: - wine: what is it, what is possible, limitations etc - compiz: show basic config, effects and plugins - mail: you daily work with kontact/evolution - KDE4: whats really new and you always wanted to know Of course we will have also some more openSUSE specific talks like "the openSUSE project", "looking ahead to openSUSE 11.0" and maybe "the openSUSE build service". Other suggestions are welcome, we want also talks from you! If you have a topic, please send it to me or reply to the list. Linuxtag 2008 is again in Berlin, most talks are in German, 28-31 May. http://www.linuxtag.org/2008/ -- with kind regards, Martin Lasarsch, Core Services SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5 90409 Nürnberg GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) martin.lasarsch@suse.de - http://www.opensuse.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org
