Hi, I've just added a small utility named cmdinitrd which allows the user to run command on file in an initrd. A few examples cmdinitrd /boot/initrd diff -u etc/adjtime /etc/adjtime cmdinitrd /boot/initrd less etc/adjtime this makes it more handy than always to explain a user reporting a bug how to use zcat, pipes, cpio, and the command its self on a long command line.
