That's something I was wondering too. Personally, I get the RSS from the group and if there's a new post, I see it. The only "problem" is that when someone starts a discussion, he must use Public notification (at the bottom). The default is Logged Users. So if someone doesn't check it out, then the post is private (I can see it only when I log in). The correct way to do that, is by mail (I think). If someone wants to be notified for only one discussion, then he has to check a box or something for that. 2012/12/17 Satoru Matsumoto <helios_reds@gmx.net>:
Hello mates,
does anyone know whether there's a function to push notifications to group members when a discussion is newly created or updated on connect.opensuse.org group?
Best,
