Would it be possible to build something similar with openSUSE?
Maybe this is a good occasion to advertise an openfate of mine ;-) https://features.opensuse.org/305664
It would be nice to have. Taking technical level of people that might be interested in this, it should be very easy to install and maintain, with ready to go plans how to use it in different scenarios, something similar to home entertainment center manuals.
Is there any place we can discuss this, exchange images etc? I guess that we have everything, the only problem is to create configuration, and for that we have to establish goals.

I think this is a great idea and nothing should stop you from coming up with a solution. I think this would be a great product to market. As for a place to further discuss this, you can easily create a new IRC channel or for the time being, set up a wiki page. If there is sustained interest (i.e., not "Oooh great idea" and then tomorrow we all forget about it again) then you may wish to request a mailing list. But show demonstrated commitment to it so that Henne isn't supporting a mailing list that ends up with no activity.
Thanks guys for coming up with good refreshing ideas!
Hi Bryen, Thanks for the support. For the beginning anyone that wants to take time with openSUSE media server project can use this thread, or/and mail me directly. When we collect some ideas what functions such server should provide, we can list them on the wiki. The functions should be derived from hardware configurations that should be served.
