Is there any reason in particular why you always tip-toe away from any live meetings with other volunteers?
I remember it was also impossible to get you to participate in a live discussion during the Affair of the Plasma patch. Do you not share my optimism about the potential of live discussions to mitigate misunderstandings and keep emotions at bay? :/
You have demonstrated a... (to try and please Gerald I'll attempt to put this politely) ...a... method of "creatively" interpreting peoples responses and being very.. "selective" as to what you respond to. Therefore in any live meeting with you, I currently cannot trust that you wouldn't continue to demonstrate these traits. Therefore I (IMHO rightly) fear that any discussion with you in those venues would result in you announcing things I didn't agree to, quoting words I didn't say, or ommitting things of import that were discussed. Textual conversations, especially those on our list, are black and white, plain text, independantly archived and able to be quoted so there is no question as to who said what, or who didn't respond to specific direct questions. Therefore venues like these are the only ones I'm comfortable having discussions with you over. Hope this clears this up.
