If you will be anywhere in the U.S. Pacific NW on April 28th and 29th, please check out linuxfestnorthwest.org and events.opensuse.org.
The LFNW schedule is packed. From Friday evening through Sunday, including food and beer Saturday evening (but you have to be registered for that). The original grass-roots FOSSFest. Low-key. Emphasis on content. All free (except for lunch).
And we're having an openSUSE mini-summit unconference, hack-a-thon, meet&greet, grip&grin on Sunday. Free stuff. Geeko Stress Relief.
For both events, you'll need to get an account and then register. Even if you can't attend the mini-summit in person, it would be helpful to know how much interest there is in the community for doing this kind of regional event.
Please have a look and come to Bellingham the last weekend in April if you can.
