Hello,
I'm looking for a picture of the "Leap development model". Something like this [1], but for Leap (there is Factory => Tumbleweed).
Does anybody know where I can find one?
Ok, "desktop" stuff come from Tumbleweed. What's about "core" stuff? Will it be correct just to change Factory to SLE?
Thank you, Alex

I'm an unofficial source, but my understanding is parts of SLES 12 SP 1 were also cherry picked for Leap. And the kernel (4.1) came from a dedicated Leap kernel effort. ie. The kernel is newer than SLES and 13.2's kernels but older than Tumbleweed's (4.3). https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/Kernel:openSUSE-42.1/kernel-default I assume the 4.1 kernel was at one time in Tumbleweed, but I don't think it is accurate to say the Leap kernel comes from Tumbleweed. Instead I believe it was chosen because it was the most recent Long Term Kernel at the time the Leap freeze was initiated.
