I dunno, these are just my observations, worth what you paid for them. And if there is documentation I'll just say "Never mind" and read them if you tell me where :)
man zypper should be comprehensive zypper --help and zypper <command> --help sould be what zypper user needs as a fast reference. Unsupported options, in development, are not documented.
