You only have to unsubscribe.
I see no unsubscribe link in any of the e-mails, which brings me to the question of "WHY NOT???", since that is Universal Mailing List etiquette?
Most of our lists have a footer like this:
To unsubscribe, e-mail: whicheverlist+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: whicheverlist+owner@opensuse.org
For some reason, 'election-officials' does not. I have added it. However, as per RFC2369, mails always contain these in the header:
List-Post: <mailto:opensuse-project@opensuse.org> List-Help: <mailto:opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org> List-Subscribe: <mailto:opensuse-project+subscribe@opensuse.org> List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org> List-Owner: <mailto:opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org> List-Archive: <http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-project/>
