You only have to unsubscribe.
I see no unsubscribe link in any of the e-mails, which brings me to the question of "WHY NOT???", since that is Universal Mailing List etiquette?
In fact on my Services is a Mandatory Requirement for Mailing List Management operation and management.
I would expect openSUSE, at least, to follow standard mailing list etiquette.

I see them. You haven't looked carefully.
List-Unsubscribe: election-officials+unsubscribe@opensuse.org
Maybe you are referring to "no footer saying how to unsubscribe", but that one is not mandatory.

Per already pointed out how I made this error.
Thanks, but I was not pointing out to mandatory in our (openSUSE's) case, only in the case on my servers, and was merely wanting to get what I thought was an oversight fixed ... oversight because openSUSE is a *Leader* in courtesy and consideration.
Thus, I posted it to the Project Mailing list.
Seems I should have checked several more of my saved mailing list posts, though.
Also, see my apology and reply to Per.

Most of our lists have a footer like this:
To unsubscribe, e-mail: whicheverlist+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: whicheverlist+owner@opensuse.org
For some reason, 'election-officials' does not. I have added it.
However, as per RFC2369, mails always contain these in the header:
List-Post: mailto:opensuse-project@opensuse.org List-Help: mailto:opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org List-Subscribe: mailto:opensuse-project+subscribe@opensuse.org List-Unsubscribe: mailto:opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org List-Owner: mailto:opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org List-Archive: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-project/

Thanks for confirming, Per. However, I will still apologize, as it turns out -- and has been pointed out to me -- the usual case with our mail lists is that they *do* have such a link. I did not see that.
Also, as Richard Brown points out, this might have been seen as some attempt to embarrass you personally, which *most certainly* is *not* the case.
I have always had great respect for the work you do, and I have been pleased many times as you have quickly helped me in many instances and at others have patiently explained to me that I am doing things wrong.
Therefore, I am truly sorry if I gave any impression that I was criticizing you.
On the contrary, I have nothing but high praise for you and all you do.
I hope that is now clear to all who followed this.

No probs Gerry, I'm thick-skinned :-)
