p.s. tumbleweed is working right now for those who wish to try it out on an 11.3 based system...
I would love to try it out! Where's the web page / repo list? Do I just change out a couple of repos?
Yes, to try out Tumbleweed, just add: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Tumbleweed/standard/ as a repo to your openSUSE 11.3 system, and then run: zypper dup to update to the latest versions of the kernel, samba, apache, and a variety of other packages. Note, please be careful, things might break in the future as we work out some of the kinks in the system (like how to properly update versions of python and perl and some system libraries), but you should always be able to just remove the repo and update back to a "clean" 11.3 system if things go wrong, but I can't guarantee anything at this point in time. And if there are any packages that you would like to see updated that aren't, please let me know and I will work on it. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org
