when I read the above, I went again to the page. I get the exact same page and could vote again.

*after* each vote a message say that one can change mind, but I expected the screen to reflect the initial vote.
It doesn't show how you voted last time, but every time you cast your vote it overwrites the previous one. So you can vote till the end of elections. And my note regarding rehashing was that I made sure that votes casted by anybody before the change would be matching even after the change - you overwrite just your own votes and don't worry. you don't get two votes.
if all is nice, you may verify is I could cast more than 2 votes (my vote login is jdd_sysop)
