how to install yast and way to open it tell me.. plz??
YaST is normally installed by default. Are you sure you do not have it? On KDE you should be able to start it by opening the kickoff menu, small green orb normally on the left side of the task bar, select "computer" and it should appear on that list. Or, open a bash window and "su -" to root and "yast2" If it is really not installed, open a bash window and "su -" to root and: zypper se -s yast determing the modules you wish installed zypper -v in <yast module you want> -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
