Just wondering if you had any timeline for updating the Tumbleweed repo to the 2.6.37 kernel?
Yes, probably after 188.8.131.52 is out, which (hopefully) will be later next week, or a bit later, depending on how fast I can get some other tasks done.
Is there something specific in .37 that you need now? If so, you can always use the kernel in Factory if you want to.
Ya there are a few things found in it that are pretty important to me. I'm hoping the Hauppauge HD-PVR patches resolve some USB timeout issues and of course the performance patches are always welcome. I'm also getting error messages that did not appear when running the openSUSE default kernel (such as ACPI Warning for _TZ_.THRM._PSL: Return Package type mismatch at index 0 - found [NULL Object Descriptor], expected Reference (20100702/nspredef-1059)) and I am hoping 2.6.37 fixes that. So ya, I would like to try the 2.6.37 kernel to see if some of these papercuts disappear before filing bug reports.
