I feel like a template won't do justice here really, what if there're 3 questions about your job and you've a boring job for example or don't like to share it, no interview for you? I also found from previous interviews that people answer the template as if it's a formal job interview, "My name is John Smith, I work at Something Inc and I like Linux." but that's not the goal of "interview" here. So I decided to stay away from the static set of questions and to write a story with some interaction instead. I mean you'll answer questions one way or another but there's no standard, this is not "members of the month." :)
Sure, I wasn't thinking about a strict template but more about a guide or a set of example questions that people might find fun answering. Not question about their job or a formal presentation, but questions related to their experience with computing, free software and openSUSE to give them a starting point. For example: - When was the first time you used openSUSE ? - What is your worst memory with a computer ? - Tea or coffee ? - Desktop environmnent of choice ? - Do you play music, if so of which kind and which instrument ? - What is the last "life saver" software you discover ? - In one sentence, why do you like openSUSE project ? and so on.
So the plan is anyone who wants to share a bit about himself would say I'm interested and I contact him (email or chat somewhere depends on preference) it'll then get reviewed by Doug (ddemaio) this review is real quick for editing quality. punctuation, stuff like that.
If you don't feel comfortable though no problem I can send you a template and take your time (there's no deadline), the whole thing was just an attempt to improve the experience.
if there's a better way to encourage people and convince them that this is really not a "test", I'm open and better yet you can consider joining the team yourself
