This has been a spiral for years now. We have too much on our plate. That's why we struggle to do even do the basics for everything. That's why nothing is very polished. That's why next to no new people join and a lot of people leave.
I'm Linux user since '99, although after looking at Suse's release numbers it could be that I did start with 4.4 sometime in the beginning of 1997. In any case, I left in 2003 to rolling distros - first spent >5yrs with Gentoo, then same amount with Arch and until now with Debian (Sid). Now I'm returning back to Suse - put 13.2 on my notebook, soon will put it on the desktop and then, hopefully on my Linode VPS. (I'm still considering Tumbleweed, but in any case, it's Suse). After becoming more familiar (again) with the distro, I'll try to help as much as possible!!
