Like C, where getopt isn't part of the standard C library, C++ also doesn't offer something like it in its standard library.

You'll have to search for it somewhere else. Philipp

Is there a C++ standard class library to process command line? Some (older?) webpages in google indicate GetOpt, but I couldn't find this in libstdc++. I've used getopt in several C++ programs without any apparent problems. -- Jerry Feldman
