Getting Perl Gtk2 to work on suse 8.2

(For Glade2, I'm thinking maybe it's easier to reinstall the whole thing?) For Perl Gtk2, it requires pkg-config... which doesn't come with suse 8.2. So I downloaded and installed from Ximian's suse 8.2 rpm. But this doesn't create the .pc files. I'm hoping not to have to do this manually.
