Jenkins Java Version und Slave mit kleinerer Version?

Hi, ich habe einen Jenkins aufgesetzt, der unter Linux ci-master 3.11.10-21-pae #1 SMP Mon Jul 21 15:28:46 UTC 2014 (9a9565d) i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux läuft. Allerdings habe ich noch einen Slave (PPC mit OSX und Java 1.5!). Hier habe ich einen Fehler, der auf die falsche Java Version deutet, da die Anwendung von einem System mit neuerem Java stammt. Gibt es dafür eine Lösung? Gibt es einen Slave ohne Java? Kann ich den Slave separat bauen (mit 1.5) und ohne Java Web Start laufen lassen (Konsole/Daemon)? Creating shared libraries issues

Hi, I am using the following command to create a shared library on my openSuSE boxes: cc -g -shared -WL,soname,liblbHook.so.0 -o liblbHook.so.0.0.1 lbHook.o -ldl -lstdc++ On an older box (uname -a = Linux linux-mjyr 2.6.27.56-0.1-pae #1 SMP 2010-12-01 16:57:58 +0100 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux) all works fine. On my current box where I try to setup a new jenkins installation I get an error. (uname -a = Linux ci-master 3.11.10-21-pae #1 SMP Mon Jul 21 15:28:46 UTC 2014 (9a9565d) i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux) cc: error: unrecognized command line option ‘-WL,soname,liblbHook.so.0’ Am I missing some tools? I have installed Base Development Patterns and additionally therein the libtool package as it was installed on my older box. Debugging Survey

Dear OpenSUSE Programmers, since 1974 researchers and software developers try to ease software debugging. Over the last years, they created many new tools and formalized methods. We are interested if these advancements have reached professional software developers and how they influenced their approach. To find this out, we are conducting an Online Survey for Software Developers. From the results we expect new insights into debugging practice that help us to suggest new directions for future research. Diese habe ich da entsprechend angegeben. rpmbuild gibt auch an, dass diese Pakete fehlen. Ich versuche mit dem build tool das Paket zu bauen. Wie man sieht, kann zypper rpmlint nicht ohne Fehler installieren und build gibt einen Fehler an. SRPM Abhängigkeiten und Zypper?

Hi, ich wollte hier mal fragen ob es wie bei RPMS mit zypper möglich ist, automatisch abhängige Pakete eines SRPM's mit zu installieren? Mein RPM konnte auf einer Vagrant Box ohne Probleme via zypper alle abhängigen mit Pakete installieren. Mein SRPM scheint da nur das TGZ zu installieren. Irgend welche Ideen? Hintergrund: Ich möchte, dass mein Code so einfach wie möglich auf einer blanken Linux Distro mit RPM Support from Scratch installiert und gebaut werden kann. beep im Terminal

Hallo zusammen, aus dem X-Terminal heraus funktioniert kein "beep". Mir ist also diese Loesung eingefallen: beep > /dev/tty6 Hierzu muss /dev/tty6 jedoch Userrechte haben. Meine Idee waere nun: -Rechte beim Programmstart [1] setzen -beep immer Umleiten auf tty6 -Rechte bei Programmende wieder zuruecksetzen Auch wenn es an dem Rechner keine Tastatur gibt, moechte ich die Rechte nicht generell auf 606 oae. stehen lassen! [1] Das Prog ist/wird mit Lazarus/FPC gebaut Wie saehe nun in der sh/bash der Einzeiler aus, um auf root-Ebene zu gelangen und die Rechte zu aendern? Hat da jemand eine Idee? Vielleicht denke ich auch nur zu kompliziert! PS.: Lautsprecher am dsp gibt es nicht, sonst waere aplay eine Loesung. Es gibt nur den Beeper. /etc/sudoers zu aendern wuerde 600km Fahrt bedeuten :-( MfG Th.
