Did a normal reboot work? Maybe your battery is old and cant hold the nvram data. Change the boot device in the "Multiboot" menu.

I have booted into the Maintenance menu using the CD and changed the bootlist from the default (floppy, CD, net card), to floppy, HD, CD and rebooted. This appears to have no effect. According to IBM, I should boot from the first AIX disk and invoke the bootlist command. I don't have AIX, I have SuSE 7.1 PPC, which makes me null and void in the eyes of IBM. Is there an equivalent SuSE command or process? Thanks.
