It's possible to run linux on a PC-formated disk in a MAC, if you boot from a hfs/boot-partition on a second HD. The PC-HD is directly accessible through fdisk and yast. I don't know anything about LVM but if you only need fdisk labels it should be possible. Regards, Micha
