I am trying to install 7.3, I tried to set m11i=fbdev so yast2 would not start in vga mode, this did not work for me. I used kernal arguments video=ofonly m11i=fbdev wind up with no x11 config When I log in I try sax2 -m 0=fbdev it says card is not supported. I was trying to follow the help for configuring an unsupported card using the frambuffer. so I tried sax2 -a to force a config then sax2 -m 0=fbdev which failed then a startx which seemed to load fbdev then I got a message weight(000) not equal depth 32 I have a ims twin turbo btw. any help is appreciated.
