Hi ! I'm trying to setup XFree86 4.1.0 of SuSE 7.3 PPC with a Permedia 2 graphic card. The computer is a PowerStack II (PReP with OpenFirmware) with a 300 MHz 604e. There is another board (CL5446) used for console and the Permedia 2 is the second board. The same config runs fine with a Matrox Millenium and the mga driver (1024x768 16bpp). The problem seems to be missing symbols in the glint driver, and/or PCI related : (WW) xf86ReadPciBIOS: Unsupported on this platform. Symbol xf86DestroyI2CDevRec from module /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/glint_drv.o is unresolved! Symbol xf86DestroyI2CDevRec from module /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/glint_drv.o is unresolved!
