Hi list I am installing SLES on my pseries 620 and it works fine with both version (sles9-sp2 and sles8-sp3a) but I cannot see my disk arrays, I think that I need the apropiate driver for my raid card: PCI 4-Channel Ultra3 SCSI RAID Adapter, I can not find information about this driver for linux ppc... someone had have any similar experience? Another question, can I install Linux LPAR on this machine? I am thinking on this solution too.. Any advice please... thanks in advance Here my HW information and some information files: Pseries 620 (7025-6f1) 2-Way - RS64 IV 600 Mz 4MB L2 cache 02 internal disks scsi 01 PCI 4-Channel Ultra3 SCSI RAID Adapter with 5 scsi disks Tomas Carmen R. This card needs the ips driver. Quote from the ips source: #if !defined(__i386__) && !defined(__ia64__) && !defined(__x86_64__) #warning "This driver has only been tested on the x86/ia64/x86_64 platforms" #endif You should probably contact the guys at linux-scsi@vger.kernel.org, maybe they can help you with porting the driver to ppc64. -- short story of a lazy sysadmin: alias appserv=wotan
