I had the same problems compiling the 2.4.9 (and also the 2.4.8) on a sparc. The Changelog for the 2.4.10 pre 3 has the following entry: - David Miller, Paul Mackerras: fix up sparc and ppc respectively for kmap/kbd_rate Maybe using this patch solves your problem (I did not try it, I am waiting for 2.4.10). -- Best Regards, Holger Hecht *************************************************** Dipl.-Ing.
