Hi Alex, You're right. :-) It boots with the 32-bit version of the network CD.
Linuxrc v4.1.5 (Kernel 3.10.13X1000_PW-1.3f) <<<
Thank you very much for your help. :-) All the best, Christian Am 01.10.13 18:06, schrieb Alexander Graf:

Hi there,
Thank you very much for your work for a PowerPC version of openSUSE. I've got a problem. The new network install CD (12.3) didn't boot because it can't load init. Issue: init Not tainted <Kernel>. The 11.1 network CD boots fine on my AmigaOne X1000. The AmigaOne X1000 is a PowerPC-based personal computer intended as a high-end platform for AmigaOS 4.1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AmigaOne_X1000).
I have done the following steps to boot openSUSE 12.3 network CD:
CFE> ramdisk -z -addr=0x24000000 -fs=iso atapi0.1:suseboot/initrd64
CFE> boot -elf -noints -fatfs cf0:vmlinux-3.10.13-1
The 11.1 CD boots fine but the 12.2 and 12.3 have the init error (init Not tainted to 3.10.13X1000). Do you have an idea for me, please?
By the way, I've released openSUSE 11.1-1 for the AmigaOne X1000.

I would appreciate about your answers.
I think cache line size on PA6T is 64 bytes which means you might be running into the same problem as me for e5500. Glibc is configured with optimizations against POWER4 which hardcodes cache line size for memset(0) to 128 bytes, effectively breaking it on these platforms.
Does 32 bit user space work for you?
