HI, I've email suse about this and they could not reproduce the problem of Not Booting via "holding the C key" since they don't have any imac rev A or B. They said I have to upgrade my firmware, but I do have the latest firmware for my iMac rev B. I do maintain 3 different partition with Mac Os 9.1, Mac OS 9.0.4 and Mac OS X. I can use bootx to boot to linux via Mac OS 9.0.4 and I did install it. But what about those people that are using iMacs rev A. & B running Mac OS 9? Should they be force to downgrade to 9.0.4 just to get linux working on their imacs? The best thing to do is release a patch CD, that will boot imacs rev a and rev b. I have to get in touch with robert shaw he rans a small website that is dedicated on Linux on B&W G3's. I just ask for a RMA# so I can send the CD back to suse for a refund Allan

Same problem.. Try to use bootx from macos 8.6 and not from 9.1. I think that the problem is in the yaboot 1.1.1 or in the fake system folder (when I try to boot from the linux_boot partition the system returns to 9.1
:/ )

To suse... I think that is a good idea to test on every machine you decide to support before go on GM >>:/
