I use the following single line to mount my dvd+rw and it works fine:
mount -t udf -o rw,noatime,exec,umask=3D0000,iocharset=3Diso8859-1 /dev/hdc /cdrom chmod a+rw /cdrom

I have this line in my /etc/fstab: /dev/pktcdvd/0 /mnt/cdrw udf noauto, owner,rw,noatime, nosuid, nodev 0 0 Should I be using /dev/hda instead of /dev/pktcdvd/0? I used the format/mount advice recently posted to this list by Peter Osterlund. David -------- http://www.mainstreamlinux.com
