[opensuse-packaging] Looking for devel project for owfs
Hi, I'm having owfs for some years in one of my home projects, and I think it is time to get it a devel project. OWFS is a collection of tools to communicate with devices using the 1-wire bus of Dallas/Maxim. The functionality is provided by several tools. One is the one wire file system which provides a file system structure to access the information. Another one is owhttpd which provides access via http. owserver which provides access via an own network protocol. Also several binding libraries for a direct access are provided. Webpage: http://owfs.org Package: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:Heinervdm/owfs I'm unsure about where to submit it. - Base:System where i2c-tools can be found? - utilities because it's a utilitiy? - hardware because it provides tools to communicate with hardware? - filesystems because it provides some filesystem? - somewhere else? I would be thankful for your proposals. Thanks, Thomas -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org

I would opt for hardware - Base::System is an anomaly and utilities is a fallback project. Hardware seems to fit nicely Greetings, Stephan -- Ma muaß weiterkämpfen, kämpfen bis zum Umfalln, a wenn die ganze Welt an Arsch offen hat, oder grad deswegn. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org
