[opensuse-packaging] Motion detection software.
Hi. I'm a member of the Motion mailinglist, and had the idea -along with other on the list included the developers- that it would be a nice idea, to implement the Motion detection software in openSUSE too. It's already included with other linux os'es, and I wonder why it's not already in openSUSE, that I have used since very many years. For information here's a URL: http://www.lavrsen.dk/twiki/bin/view/Motion/
From /Adrian Schroeter I got this.
/ Everybody can package it via the build service, check http://build.opensuse.org for this :) Or ask someone on the opensuse-packaging mailing list to do so. I now ask if there's a person, that can/will do the work? I also used it a couple years ago -- to observe some breeding birds. I love this software. I built it in my own build system back then. I have no use for it today, but I put it into the opensuse build service some time ago -- it lives in the home:poeml project. You should be able to find it via software.opensuse.org/search and you can link to it. Maybe there is a better place in the namespace where to put it, I don't know. I would be happy to give you, or the developers directly, access to the build service sources, so you can maintain it.
