Hi,
Hi Martin,
I am packaging the Perl binding for Augeas, but there is a problem in that 11.3 includes a rather old version of the library, so the binding only compiles on Factory. (The same situation exists for devel:languages:ruby:extensions/rubygem-ruby-augeas, SR 52828)
What makes most sense? a) disable the binding for 11.3 and older
Well, I personally would just disable the perl package for < 11.3. That's the safest way, imho.
b) build for 11.3 (or even older) with a recent augeas, which is in devel:libraries:c_c++. Is it possible to use a single package from a different devel project? How?
Unfortunately, I can't see any specific solution to get excatly one single package from a different project, but in general it can be done like this: http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_Tips_and_Tricks#Adding_multipl... I hope I could help anyway. ciao, Matthias -- Matthias Weckbecker, Junior Software Engineer, L3 International Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, D-90409 Nuernberg Tel: +49-911-74053-0; http://www.opensuse.org/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
