The idea is to put a trigger in whatever package provides ldconfig and make find-provides automatically add this trigger target in every package that provides a library? No that I think Mageia's file triggers patch is elegant. But it seems more flexible than virtual triggers. If we ever have programs that update the caches atomically, how would virtual triggers pass the list of new libraries to ldconfig?
