Not having any feedback (good or bad) is unfriendly practice. Of course it should not be that besides a proper osc rq accept -m "Thanks for this wonderful package. It has just been accepted to Factory and will appear in the next sync" you have to do any additional steps.
Unfortunately, the above does not create a mail to the person that initiated the osc sr create request.
Agreed. Some get mails, some don't. This is something that needs to be fixed in the build service asap. Do you get no mails at all or just some are missing? Because I do not miss any mails (the opposite is true :)
:) I assume you get way to many mails... I DO get some hermes mails for SRs created against projects I'm maintainer off (games, home:dimstar, G:S:2.26 and some more). So I do know when people wish to update packages which I have an eye on and which I have some 'responsability' over. What is missing in my opinion (and it was there once) is the notifications if an SR I created against another project was accepted/rejected/whatever. Example work flow (I know people always misunderstand when I talk about 'my submissions'): - I branch a packet from multimedia:libs (random project) (osc branch) - I fix up all the spec, updating blabla... check in into my branch, let it build - Create an SR (osc sr create multimedia:libs -m "My hyper update for you"). -> From here on hermes keeps silence upon me. What I would appreciate if to get a mail when the maintainer of multimedia:libs accepts, rejects, wipes my SR.
