KDEPerformance-LubosLunak-video.ogg Oh I just love people that post links to videos without any other text. Have you ever considered that there might be people without broadband? Downloading this thing takes like 1.5 hours for me (no flatrate!). So could you also post some good old text to explain what is going on in

Lubo*, do you have some notes somewhere or can you provide them in some place of the opensuse.org wiki ?
Lubo* That would b helpful. Started to watch you Lubo* today, but meeting after meeting held me off finishing. Will be watching the rest tomorrow. Some sort of notes or the actual presentation would be helpful and even better a howto ;) I am impressed with your demo and cannot wait to have it running on my systems. Andreas

Not really, unless you'd be willing to fly to Malaga to make your copy of the paper with the notes and wouldn't mind the occassional Czech note. And even then I don't think it'd be very useful. There are transcripts for some of the talks at wiki.kde.org, but not for my talk. You can get the slides from http://conference2005.kde.org/sched-devconf.php (the HTML link doesn't work, it needs index.html appended - http://conference2005.kde.org/slides/kde-performance/index.html). And some of the slides are basically just a rehash of things listed in the KDE performance tips page (ggl:kde performance tips). And I might consider writing some kind of a practical HOWTO based on the rest of the slides. -- Lubos Lunak KDE Developer l.lunak@kde.org l.lunak@suse.cz

I might take you up on that offer to come and visit Malaga ;)
