I know we can go on for ever, but I am building a specific project around LXDE, using LDM as a login manager on thin clients running kiwi-ltsp onnection to a server which then runs a remote x desktop with KDE? Is it possible to add LXDE also after XFCE? Listing four environments would be overkill if you ask me. I've followed the rule of threes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_three_(writing)
This is by no means objectively measurable, but to me it just feels right to list three environments instead of two or four. Here's what I'm suggesting: if there's reasonable proof that LXDE is more popular and more active than Xfce, I'll replace the mention of Xfce with LXDE. But I can't make everyone happy and keep the ad relatively easy to read at the same time. (If there's a majority that wants to see LXDE added, I'll change it of course.) I'm biased because I'm an LXDE user. It's a great desktop - it has a feel more like Gnome, complete and not too minimal, but light enough to run on my old laptop. The openSUSE implementation is excellent. (Suspend and wireless work!) It's the default for the popular Knoppix live CD and is the (unnoffician?) Ubuntu Lite desktop in Lubuntu. Certainly we don't want to crowd things, but if it can be done neatly, by all means include LXDE. Hi Pieter I think I answered you at marketing list but in case I did not ;-s , today (in less than an hour) we have the Meeting of the Greek community and I will give them to people to translate and fix them, when it will be ready I will send you a copy to have it in your archive and I will also uploaded at the http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Artwork_miscellaneous. Woah, openSUSE continues to amaze me... I must have missed that when I installed my system. Those options are still there, apparently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrk9LA7P-Ck
