[opensuse-marketing] Open Source Expo Karlsruhe
Hello, on 15. and 16. November 2009 there's the (AFAIK second) "Open Source Expo" in Karlsruhe, see http://openexpo.de for details. There's currently a call for papers and for projects. My question is: are there enough people (both from SUSE and the community) interested to run a booth and/or to give a talk? If I get it right, the booth is free and we'll even get some goodies. Entrance for visitors is free if you pre-register (otherwise 10 €). In parallel, there are the WebTech Conference and the International PHP Conference, but those are quite expensive. I'll most probably go there and am willing to help, but I can't run a booth alone ;-) I'm also thinking about "recycling" my talk about AppArmor I gave at LinuxTag at the Open Source Expo. A more general talk about openSUSE or the build service would be another option. BTW and just an idea: what about sharing the booth with the postfixAdmin project? I'm one of the main developers there ;-) and a separate booth would be overmuch. Feedback welcome ;-) (Before you ask: I have no idea how big this event is and how many visitors are expected.)
