What fun ideas!!! I think with the 'official' part of the logo the colors do need to stick to official branding, but for poster art, we can do what we want - so a newly-drawn Geeko character, different to the logo, can certainly be used to create some ideas around openSUSE, but the official logo in the corner then gives the crisp branding reminder. I think it's possible to make a unified branding message with varied images, when they have a common theme and sometimes the official logo or text is connected sometimes. I always prefer to avoid comparison with other distros - they are our comrades not our competitors. Always just focus on the things that openSUSE can do. We could have a lot of fun with different environments, music and patterns. (We could play off against the Rango character - Carlos's Geeko character is very cool, suave and sophisticated!) cheers Helen (apologies for double send, JDD, I'd hit the wrong 'reply') -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org
