I'd like to open a brainstorming session on how to use social media to promote the openSUSE 11.3 launch. Please send your ideas - and if you like to volunteer helping, please speak up as well.

Unfortunately, my previous email was sent only to Andreas (why on earth don't the lists have a reply-to field or something?). I was thinking about the obvious: - facebook event - facebook posts - tweets (on twitter and identi.ca) - posts on linkedin groups In what regards the metrics, I would go for the number of participants in the event, the number of posts/retweets and the ones that Bryan proposed. I can't think of any quality metrics right now, but we should consider some.
