For some reason this is ringing alarm bells for me. Maybe it's that it's a 'New' paper, plus the vague "promise". It's a LOT of money to invest and frankly I'm dubious.
Maybe I'm a cynic but I'd do your homework on these people before handing over the hard-earned.

Yes, it IS a lot of money. 840 pounds for a full-page advert fits in a pretty darn big newspaper. Moreover, as it's targeting general public instead of it- interested people, don't count on too many responses.
THen again, they also offered (if I understand it correctly) some articles and other mentions. If you can get some kind of guarantee that you'll get that, AND pay afterwards instead of up-front, it might be worth it.
To get the money you can either set up a pledgie or use paypal & blog about it... But again, make sure you get what you pay for!
