When linking to en wiki during the news you could put :en: before the link, specially the Credits section, for example:

could be:

which gets the right link in localized versions. Another example:
* [http://ru.opensuse.org/Участник:Eri_zaq Dinar Valeev] (GNOME Section in New/updated Applications @ OpenSUSE)
could be:
* [[:ru:Участник:Eri_zaq|Dinar Valeev] (GNOME Section in New/updated Applications @ OpenSUSE)
