here in latinoamerica we have FLISOL, which stands for Latin America free software installation festival. We have it once a year to promote the use of free software, usually it consists of installation (last year it was mainly ubuntu), and talks over GNU philosophy, workshops, etc. We had a few soponsors in the city I live in, and I was wondering if we, as a Linux Users Group, could have some openSUSE cd's and stickers like the ones canonical ships, just to show people the openSUSE distro. Has openSUSE done anything like that for a south america event? I mean, sponsored an event by sending cd's, stickers or banners?
We've supported events in South America, I believe. When is this event, and do you have more details? Like the number of attendees, etc.? Who would we contact to help out with the event?
