Hi, I'm curious if anyone knows what we need to fulfil to get LXQt as additional desktop into MicroOS Desktop - and later into ALP. Having LXQt in MOS would really give a very lean system - much leaner than the current Gnome or KDE. Cheers Axel

Not alot, really. I'm basically the only person that I'm aware of actually working on MicroOS KDE, but there is somebody that has been working on MicroOS XFCE. Shouldn't be that difficult to follow XFCE's lead. Lemme find the project.

Found it. https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/home:mauriziogalli:microos-xfce None of his work is upstreamed into MicroOS Desktop yet, but LXQt would need the same basic work.

Is Fabian Vogt not working on MOS KDE as well?

Ah, its Mau. Let me check with him the status before branching. Cheers Ax

Is Fabian Vogt not working on MOS KDE as well? He very well may be, but he's not been active or submitting any work in the last couple months, that I've seen. I assume that he's gotten busy with other things.
