Hi everyone,
is anyone using flux2? If so, I want to get my hands dirty with it, but as a
first step I tried to package the CLI for openSUSE:
My first couple of "experiments" calling the CLI ("flux2-cli --version", get
help on commands, ...) seemed to work, but I would be glad if someone more
experienced with Flux can have a look at it and report back, if something is
off. Which is totally not out of question... :-)
In the meantime I'll go digging into the flux documentation and try to prepare
an environment where I do not break things in case something is fishy...
Kind Regards,
Johannes

Hi,
After the MicroOS/Kubic split the kubernetes-client ( aka kubectl )
package was no longer updated and remained at version 1.24.3.
I checked and this is built as a subpackage of kubernetes1.24 [1],
which means that to package a new kubectl version one would have to
package all of kubernetes, which I take is not a trivial undertaking.
I for one moved on to k3s + MicroOS and don't have the desire, time, and
probably not the skill, to work on packaging all of kubernetes.
Does anyone plan on packaging new kubernetes versions for devel:kubic?
ISTR that there was a kubernetes-client package at some point, is
bringing it back a viable option?
Thanks,
Robert
