Created attachment 860723 [details] Failed offline update in GNOME Software
It doesn't make any sense to use "GNOME offline update", since transactional-update is doing an offline update itself in a much better and more robust way. No idea if this GNOME functionality can be disabled in the MicroOS Gnome Desktop, but should be.
Or integrated with the way how transactional-update works so that users have a graphical interface to update MicroOS Desktop?
it could, that was attempted with the Packagekit/microdnf backend It failed, it was not reliable enough/at all The plan for the MicroOS Desktop is to disable/hide that function in GNOME software and rely on the "traditional" transactional-update automatic timers, with some kind of notification showing when a reboot is needed to activate an automatically installed update -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
