[opensuse-kernel] Auto suspend does not connect wifi right, when waking up.
Hi, I do not know where to place this message, so i place it here. With the last two KOTD's, i notice that when waking from autosuspend/sleep, the network does not connect properly. I have to deactivate and activate wifi, to get it going right. When i put sleep on myself, wifi works how it should. I have no problem with it, as i can get it to work again, but i thought i'll let you know. Kind regards. -- Have a nice day, Oddball. Is this real "12.2 only with updated kernel" or did you update other packages as well? -- Stefan Seyfried "If your lighter runs out of fluid or flint and stops making fire, and you can't be bothered to figure out about lighter fluid or flint, that is not Zippo's fault." -- bkw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

Not recently, that is i update when updates are available... Are you looking for specific pkgs? (I use packman for my music and movies..) I noticed since previous KOTD: Linux 3.7.0-rc5-2-desktop i686, and this one: Linux 3.7.0-rc6-1-desktop i686 This eee pc has long battery life. When i am away for over set time, auto sleep will enter. All other times until last and this kernel, wi fi turned on without me interfering. Now, and with previous, when hand sleep and wake, wifi recovers without help. I had messages on a tty which i thought had something to do with it, but was not yet able to capture them. I will try to get them again, and copy them to study. -- Have a nice day, Oddball. well, if you were running factory: suspend is horribly broken when systemd is used for suspending. And the recent adaptions of upower for systemd also broke networkmanager suspend support when not using systemd. So if you were in fact using packages from factory, such breakage would be expected. Since you are not, I have no idea what goes wrong on your system.

Trying to capture the corresponding output.. I am sure there were messages about it, just after waking up. As soon as there is something concrete about it, i'll post here. -- Have a nice day, Oddball.
