Hi, I have a wireless card Truemobile 1150 that uses the orinoco kernel driver. The driver has a bug and it doesn't work with wpa_supplicant 0.7.1 and newer (openSUSE 11.3) The problem has been discussed in the kernel wireless mailing list. A full description of the bug can be found here: http://marc.info/?l=linux-wireless&m=129039665705109&w=2 Dave Kilroy, the guy who developed the WPA functionality in the orinoco driver has created 4 patches which fixes the issue and make my card work properly. The 4 patches can be found here: http://marc.info/?l=linux-wireless&m=129063081222549&w=2 http://marc.info/?l=linux-wireless&m=129131397618647&w=2 http://marc.info/?l=linux-wireless&m=129156387232589&w=2 http://marc.info/?l=linux-wireless&m=129156397232733&w=2 The patches are already included in the current compat-wireless-2.6.tar.bz2 tarball and will appear in kernel 2.6.37: patches 1, 3 and 4 are already included in 2.6.37-rc6. Is it possible to have them included in the next openSUSE 11.3 kernel update? There is still an ongoing discussion about the suspend/resume issue: http://lists.infradead.org/pipermail/linux-pcmcia/2010-December/007671.html but that may take some time for a proper fix.
