NAICT, in 3.10.0-rc2 it's apparently still not ready to use. I tried a bunch of combinations of cmdline vga= &/or video= &/or nomodeset with or without various permutations of xorg.conf.d/ or xorg.conf and never could get the mga driver used in X or video= cmdline options applied on the vttys. Xorg.0.logs of attempts (plus one of same system booted to 12.1 running 1600x1200 and virtual 1920x1200): http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/Mga/ Any suggestions for more to try, or just file a bug?
