I run Opensuse 13.1 + the Opensuse kernel from Kernel:/stable/standard, 3.14.4-1.gbebeb6f-desktop. When I install a new USB3 card, the system refuses to boot. I filed this bug about it Bug 878489 - Opensuse 13.1 throws CALL TRACE and fails to boot when USB3 (xhci_hcd) card is added. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=878489 @ the bug, I was told to go 'upstream' to #kernel I've spoken at some length at upstream, and they say 'no way', and that it's an Opensuse kernel that should be reported to Novell/*Suse. I'm an Opensuse user, using an Opensuse-specific kernel. Can somebody clear up who we're supposed to report this to to get this fixed for Opensuse?
